Fuse Sessions: Igniting Creativity, Building Community

It all started with a missed opportunity. When an Element Three Art Director couldn’t attend a lettering workshop with renowned typographer Ken Barber, the team decided to flip the script—why not bring Ken to Indianapolis instead? What began as a one-time event quickly evolved into Fuse Sessions: a laid-back yet structured workshop series designed to inspire, educate, and connect designers from Indianapolis and beyond.

Hosted and organized entirely by Element Three, Fuse Sessions brought top designers and art directors like Tad Carpenter, Aaron Draplin, Mackey Saturday, and Andy J. Pizza to share their craft and creative journeys. Held two to four times a year, these all-day workshops weren’t just about sharpening skills—they were about building a community where creativity could thrive. Attendees from across the Midwest came together to learn, collaborate, and forge lasting connections, all while soaking up the chill, welcoming vibe that made Fuse Sessions a must-attend event.
